The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) has an outstanding history of service and excellence in aero-medical and primary health care across Australia. One of Australia’s most iconic brands, every hour of every day the RFDS is performing lifesaving work across Western Australia.

We have an urgent requirement for casual Paramedics to provide services across remote locations where we support sites to keep their employees healthy and safe, while aiming to reduce workplace injuries. Due to current border restrictions, candidates must be based in WA to apply for WA based roles, or NT to apply for NT based roles.

About you


Current AHPRA Registration (Unrestricted)
At least 3 years experience post qualification
Evidence of a further 3 years relevant experience working as a Critical Care Nurse
Driver’s License C Class (Manual)
Advanced Life Support Course (ALS) or ACLS
Authorised Drug Collection Officer
Proficient computer skills for operational duties
Previous experience in the provision of general primary healthcare in a non-hospital environment in a remote environment
A well-developed knowledge of, and experience in the application of Emergency Response Services within the mining sector or equivalent environment
Experience in return-to-work programs and mental health support (advantageous)
Cert IV TAE (advantageous)
Competent to provide immunisations and vaccinations – Current certificate of completion for “Health Immunisation Update” preferable (advantageous)
fitness to work (FTW) assessments (advantageous)
rehabilitation and return to work (RTW) (advantageous)
health promotion and wellness experience (advantageous)
TBOSIET (advantageous)
