Change Manager
The Change Manager will develop and implement a suitable change methodology and framework for RFDS. In this role you will provide advice, coach stakeholders, and develop and implement strategic change plans.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in the leadership of complex organisational change management initiatives with an emphasis on business transformation or improvement projects/programs.
- Experience in successfully developing and implementing organisational change management, strategies, frameworks and tools using industry best practice methodologies.
- Strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and consult with a range of stakeholders
- Proactive and adaptable
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Excellent written skills
- Accreditation or formal training in a project management framework (desirable)
- Working towards or Graduate of PROSCI certification program or like qualifications (desirable)
About the role
- Providing expert advice on change impacts and interventions for Transformation Program initiatives.
- Developing and implementing strategic change plans.
- Implementing changes applying the most suitable interventions to ensure successful outcomes are embedded across RFDS.
- Identifying and reviewing change readiness and change impacts to ensure productivity impacts on the business are minimised and change risks are mitigated.
- Designing and implementing communications strategies.
- Managing change and communications related activity on individual projects.
- Managing scheduling and execution of RFDS Change Management methodology, framework and tools where required.
- Coaching and developing RFDS internal teams to uplift management of change capability.
- Designing change management strategies and approaches.
- Implementing change within teams applying change management methodology/approach.

The mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia. Every member of the RFDS WO team contributes to that mission and living our values of showing respect, demonstrating fairness, utilising diversity and being safe. Every year, the RFDS WO provides urgent retrieval for about 10,000 patients in regional WA. A further 10,000 appointments are provided in primary healthcare clinics in remote communities, including GP, nurse, dental and mental health care. The RFDS in WA operates five bases in Perth, Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie and Meekatharra. Our 24/7 operations centre at Jandakot Airport coordinates complex logistics for patient retrievals and clinics across the State.
