We are currently seeking two part-time Administrators to join our team, working 4 days per week at our Jandakot base. These permanent roles are fast-paced and provide integral support to the Operations and Industrial Health Team, and our Primary Health Team. These positions would be well suited to candidates who enjoy being involved in the day-today running of RFDS WO and want to feel part of a team.

About you


Proactive, positive and willing to support othersA high level of experience with agenda setting and minute taking
Experience working in a Healthcare role (highly advantageous)
A team player who is self-motivated and ready to work in a fast-paced role
Excellent IT skills with experience in Excel and Word
The ability to adapt to internal databases and pick up new skills easily
A strong ability to prioritise tasks, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
The ability to adapt to change and the flexibility to move from one task to another with short notice
A keen problem solver and happy to point out ways to improve efficiencies

About the role

Arranging both virtual and in-person meetings
Organising, preparing and distributing agendas
Minute taking and managing action items
Organising ad hoc travel for the Team
Coordinating and organising charter flights for clinics
Managing purchase orders and invoices for the Team
Collating data for reporting purposes
Assisting with research and projects.
General ad hoc administration support for the Team

Salary packaging - up to $15,900 per annum for everyday expenses and up to $2,650 per annum on meals and entertainment expenses

About Us

The mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia. Every member of the RFDS WO team contributes to that mission and living our values of showing respect, demonstrating fairness, utilising diversity and being safe. Every year, the RFDS WO provides urgent retrieval for about 10,000 patients in regional WA. A further 10,000 appointments are provided in primary healthcare clinics in remote communities, including GP, nurse, dental and mental health care. The RFDS in WA operates five bases in Perth, Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie and Meekatharra. Its 24/7 operations centre at Jandakot Airport coordinates complex logistics for patient retrievals and clinics across the State. We work in partnership with government, business and the community, and are proud to work on Country with Aboriginal medical services and many local service providers.
