The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) has an outstanding history of service and excellence in aero-medical and primary health care across Australia. One of Australia’s most iconic brands, every hour of every day the RFDS is performing lifesaving work across Western Australia.

We have a very unique opportunity for an Administration Support Officer to join us on a casual basis at our Broome base. This role will be supporting our rollout of the COVID 19 vaccine to remote and regional communities throughout the Kimberley region. Not only will you get to meet our amazing team in Broome, you may also fly to communities yourself to assist with the administrative side of the rollout.

About you


Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
Flexibility (hours will vary dependent upon demand and location)
Basic administration skills with Microsoft Office
Data entry experience
Drivers license
Previous experience working with Indigenous communities (desirable)
Previous experience working in the healthcare industry (desirable)

About the role

Administrative duties for COVID 19 vaccine clinics regionally within WA
Greeting, liaising, and communicating with patients
Obtaining personal information from patients
Ordering Consumables
Entering data
Record keeping
