The RFDS in SA/NT

Leave a gift in your Will
Leaving a gift in your Will ensures the RFDS can continue to support healthier and happier Australians no matter where they live, work or play.

While supported by government, the RFDS relies on gift in Wills, fundraising and donations from the community to purchase and medically-equip its aircraft – at a cost of more than $10 million each.
Like no other gift, the gift in your Will, will help ensure we can continue our vital services for generations to come. Every time someone in need sees or hears our aircraft approaching, your legacy will be with them as part of their life-saving care.

What your legacy will achieve
Funding is always needed to bridge shortfalls in operational funding for our emergency aeromedical flights and primary health care services, to purchase new aeromedical aircraft and medical equipment, and to upgrade operational facilities.
Your enduring legacy will help to keep the Flying Doctor flying, and delivering the finest care, throughout regional, rural and remote South Australia and Central Australia.

Penny's peace of mind
SA residents Penny and Brian believe their ability to live life to the full would not be possible without the reassurance of the Flying Doctor. Every time they hit the road, go for a bushwalk or camp overnight, it gives Penny comfort knowing that she can call on the RFDS in a medical emergency.
"A long time ago my dad was airlifted by the RFDS when he needed help. Brian was flown by the RFDS a couple of times when we lived on Kangaroo Island, and my sister was working out in the Central Desert and was airlifted. I think we all in the back of our minds know the RFDS is there - I might need them one day. Through the gift in my Will, I know I can help keep the Flying Doctor flying."
