Australia's most reputable not-for-profit organisation, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides 24 hour emergency aeromedical and primary health care services to those who live, work and travel in rural and remote Australia.

Having successfully secured the contract to construct and manage the RFDS Darwin Tourist Facility including the Bombing of Darwin Harbour Experience, we are now seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Tourism Facility Manager to assist with the management of this new venture.

Reporting to the General Manager, Northern Territory, the Darwin Tourism Facility Manager will be responsible for assisting in establishing the facility, the associated infrastructure and people resources. The Tourism Facility Manager will be primarily responsible for the ongoing effective and efficient management of all facets of the tourist facility, with a specific focus towards ensuring high quality service delivery and marketing initiatives to achieve the desired attendance levels and visitor satisfaction.

Comprehensive experience in a hospitality/tourism operations, facilities and project/general management role will be highly regarded. You will also be an excellent manager of staff, possessing superior interpersonal and communication skills, teamworking and problem solving abilities. Your customer service focus will be the key to your success in this challenging role.
