Technical Records Officer

Australia's most reputable charity, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides 24-hour emergency aeromedical and primary health care services to those who live, work and travel in rural and remote Australia. RFDS Central Operations is seeking a self-motivated individual for the role of Technical Records Officer based in Adelaide.

Reporting to the Head of Airworthiness and Maintenance Control (HAAMC), this role is responsible for the provision of high level technical and analytical support to the HAAMC, to facilitate scheduling and management of aircraft airworthiness and servicing for the RFDS, Central Operations aircraft fleet across the three maintenance bases of Alice Springs,
Port Augusta and Adelaide.

To be successful you must have:

• Must have demonstrated recent technical records experience.
• A solid understanding of relevant CASA regulatory requirements.
• Significant experience within an aircraft maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of WinAir Maintenance Control Software or similar highly desirable.
• Ability to cover HAAMC role during leave periods (requires CASA acceptance).
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple work priorities whilst maintaining focus on achievement of high standards.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Well developed analytical and problem solving skills.
• Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Adobe software.
