About the RFDS (Central Operations)

Saving and improving lives for over 90 years, the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is a leader in the delivery of emergency aeromedical and community health care services to rural and remote Australia.

Serving South Australia and the Northern Territory, the team at RFDS Central Operations exists to support happier and healthier Australians, no matter where they live, work or play. We continually invest in our people, infrastructure and technology to improve our patient-centred care.

About this Opportunity

This is a pivotal time for our talent function as we are in the final stages of implementing a confirmed workforce forecast and vision for all of our business units moving forward, and we need a detail-focussed Talent Acquisition Partner who prides themselves on their ability to collaborate with senior leaders to bring amazing talent to our organisation!

Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, People and Capability as our next Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be inspired to coordinate the end-to-end talent acquisition functions across all South Australian and Northern Territory RFDS functions. This role offers a high degree of variety; you could go from recruiting pilots one day to operations managers the next, and everything in between!

This position will also offer you the opportunity to coordinate recruitment process improvements, identify future talent and manage talent pipelines in a supportive environment for Australia’s most trusty charity!

About You

You are an experienced and process-driven Talent Acquisition Partner who thrives when working autonomously. You associate the words fast, organised, and autonomous with your everyday work practices! You will demonstrate the ability to influence, partner, and understand the needs of people leaders to devise and lead sourcing strategies to meet current staffing needs and build a pipeline for future roles whilst maintaining a quality candidate experience and championing our brand.

You will also have strong relationship building and communication skills at all levels along with a customer service focus. A dynamic professional, you will evidence planning, prioritising and a continuous improvement focus, show initiative and the ability to navigate through change and deliver results.

Experience in health, engineering or aviation and behavioural style interviewing would be an advantage but are not essential, as is experience with Taleo.

Our People and Culture embrace and champion the RFDS values of:

  • INTEGRITY – we value and promote respect, trust, and equity for all employees
  • INNOVATION - we strive to develop and provide new and creative solutions

We are passionate about what we do!

As part of our team, you can expect to be provided with challenging, interesting work and be supported to achieve your best. We offer attractive remuneration, generous salary packaging benefits and a commitment to support your professional development.

If you are keen to work for a high profile organisation that makes a real difference to health outcomes for regional and remote Australians, apply today!
