About the Opportunity
RFDS Central Operations operates primary health care clinics in Andamooka, Marla and Marree. We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Remote Area Nurses (RAN) to join our primary health care team in a casual capacity. You will enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing primary health care and emergency services to the community and visitors.
About you
In addition to being enthusiastic, committed and reliable, you will ideally have:
- Knowledge and understanding of Primary Health Care principles
- Broad post graduate acute nursing experience
- Ability to take initiative in emergency situations following established guidelines/procedures
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain competency and certification in advanced clinical practice skills and competencies (e.g. BLS, ALS)
- Ability to work both independently, collaboratively and effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
