Practice Manager
Australia's most reputable charity, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides 24-hour emergency aeromedical and primary health care services to those who live, work and travel in rural and remote Australia.
Reporting to the Port Augusta Manager, this full time role is responsible for the effective management of the Primary Health Care Practice located in Port Augusta. This newly created role will give the successful applicant a unique opportunity to streamline and improve clinical practice systems, lead and develop an effective team and establish collaborative working relationships with key personnel and stakeholders.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- General Practice or Primary Health Care experience.
- Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
- Comprehensive computer skills utilising software packages applicable to the practice environment.
- A demonstrated understanding in consulting with consumers and communities.
- Experience working in rural and remote areas.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a practice management role.
- Highly organised, resourceful, confident and able to work under pressure.
- Excellence in leadership along with vision, integrity, creativity and initiative.
- Able to attain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and child-related employment screening.
