About the RFDS (Central Operations)
Working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Central Operations (RFDSCO) you will join a team of dedicated professionals, supporting and providing aeromedical and primary health care services to people in remote, rural and regional locations across South Australia (SA) and the Northern Territory (NT). As we head toward our 100th year of providing services, we are focused on becoming more specialised, more innovative, and a better-connected health service provider.
About this Opportunity
Supported by a Payroll Assistant, this position manages the payroll function for the RFDSCO which operates 24/7 with around 270 employees across SA and the NT and four enterprise agreements.
The Payroll Services Manager is responsible for performing end-to-end payroll processing, including salary packaging and associated services to employees including maintenance of the HRIS database, payroll system, personnel files, staff salary and wage information, leave records and employee benefits.
About You
You will be an experienced payroll professional who works collaboratively and is excited by the idea of continually looking for ways to improve our systems, procedures and ways to support our employees
As the ideal candidate, you will also have:
• A minimum of 5 years (as a guide) experience leading payroll services in a complex environment
• Experience working with Chris21 and/or iChris
• Demonstrated understanding of superannuation, Return to Work and fringe benefit payments
• Demonstrated experience and confidence in interpreting legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Honest, integrity and confidentiality
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
