About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our expanding team in Darwin as the Patient Transfer Nurse (PTN). This newly created role will be pivotal to the development and growth of our aeromedical operations in the Top End. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and progressing all clinical aspects of the Darwin Base. The PTN will provide direct quality nursing care and be at the forefront of RFDS clinical operations in Darwin.
About you
You will be an AHPRA Registered General Nurse, with a sound grounding in a critical care area, a sense of adventure and a professional approach to service delivery. As the PTN, you will be responsible for providing clinical advice and support to flight nurses and conduct pre-flight assessments of patients. You will maintain the clinical transfer area, equipment, stores and undertake necessary administrative duties for charter coordination. An aeromedical background will be highly desirable.
