About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for a wide variety of activities to support our flight and clinical operations to keep the Flying Doctor flying. This includes administrative and reception tasks to assist our multi-disciplinary team at the Alice Springs base.

Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the RFDS SA/NT operational database which provides statistical information on aircraft, crew and patient details.
- Production of monthly and annual reports as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Coordination of aviation charter activity, including preparation of quotes, clinic schedules / times and assistance with arrival and departure of charters
- Oversee our Reception and the maintenance of the Base and pool vehicles.
- Coordination of RFDS SA/NT staff accommodation tenanting and facilities.
- Assisting to rectify maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with the Facilities Management team.
- Preparing and coding all receivable / payable invoices for authorisation.

This role may require occasional work outside of business hours and on public holidays.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience providing high level reception and administrative support.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a professional, positive attitude.
- A well organised, self-starter with the ability to determine priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- A great communicator, able to maintain relationships and collaborate effectively.
- Accurate data entry skills with an ability to be resourceful and proactive.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the MS Office suite.
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
- Property management experience is desirable but not essential.
