About this Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Operations Communications Centre, this role provides administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team at our Port Augusta base, including health professionals, and call centre operations coordinators. The role is responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks including the entry of data into specific databases, welcoming clients and visitors to the base by staffing the reception desk and coordinating medical program appointment bookings. Other responsibilities include managing staff travel and accommodation bookings, monitoring and coordinating property/equipment repairs and maintenance schedules, assisting with the preparation of operational reports and documentation. Using specific guidelines, the Operations Support Officer will also assist to identify and triage medical emergencies, seeking and facilitating assistance when required, and is responsible for deliveries/collections to/from hospitals, pharmacies, and other health providers along with general office duties.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience providing reception and administrative support in an office environment along with excellent phone and accurate data entry skills. You will also have exceptional customer service and organisational skills, demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products and the ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality and contribute positively to the workplace.
Experience in the health services or property management industry would be an advantage but are not essential.
