Operations Manager - Aeromedical Services

We are seeking an engaging and customer-focussed leader with experience leading teams in an emergency services, health and/or aviation environment to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Alice Springs base.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Operations you will be responsible for overseeing operations and ensuring the effective utilisation of resources at the Alice Springs base. This will involve working closely with the Senior Flight Nurse, Senior Base Pilot and Senior Base Engineer (Northern Territory) to manage the delivery of aeromedical services.

About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a clinical background and be experienced in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams in a regional and culturally diverse context. You will also have:

• Industry-relevant senior management experience with highly developed skills in the effective management of human, physical and financial resources
• A collaborative style that supports developing people and encouraging teamwork
• A strong orientation to delivering results that are customer focussed
• Excellent planning and organisational skills while being able to quickly adapt and resolve problems effectively
• A track record of improving operational management systems, processes and implementing best practices
• A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
