About this Opportunity

Based in Port Augusta as our Mental Health Service Manager, you will be inspired to lead and guide our small but committed team of Mental Health Workers to provide greater access to vital mental health services in rural and remote communities and contribute to improvements in mental health. You will work collaboratively to deliver a stepped mental health service that is evidence based and will build effective partnerships with community.

About You

You possess:

  • Substantial experience and proven expertise in the application of evidence based clinical practice within the mental health field in rural/remote Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in a managerial role within a mental health team
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, standards, codes, ethics and competency standards within the mental health field
  • The ability to lead and promote consumer engagement activities.
  • AHPRA registration as a qualified Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist, or are an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
