About this Opportunity
Based in Port Augusta, you will manage and work with our small but committed team of Mental Health workers and strive to provide greater access to services in rural and remote communities and contribute to improvements in mental health. The Manager will lead our dedicated Clinicians and work collaboratively to deliver a stepped mental health service that is evidence based and will build effective partnerships with community.
About You
You have substantial experience (five years plus) and proven expertise in the application of evidence based clinical practice within the mental health field in rural and remote Australia and have experience in a senior managerial role within a multidisciplinary team. You have knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, standards, codes, ethics and competency standards and demonstrated ability in leading and promoting consumer engagement activities.
You will be an AHPRA registered qualified Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist, or an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
