Exciting opportunities are now available with the RFDS Central Operations for suitably qualified and motivated Mental Health Clinicians.
Working in a challenging, diverse and rewarding environment in beautiful Central Australia, you will deliver mental health services to communities south-west and south-east of Alice Springs within the scope of the Mental Health Services in Rural and Remote Areas (MHSRRA) program.
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency as a Mental Health Nurse, a Psychologist, an Occupational Therapist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker – member of the Australian Association of Social Workers;
- Evidence of appropriate experience in delivering mental health services in rural and remote settings;
- Evidence of high level clinical documentation skills;
- Awareness of cross cultural communication and the needs of people with different physical abilities;
- Excellent communication skills with a professional approach to service delivery;
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.
