About this Opportunity
The Mental Health Clinician provides moderate intensity mental health services to clients who are not able to access appropriate services due to living in remote locations or being ineligible for existing services. Delivering evidence based psychological interventions, the Clinician uses a combination of telephone, telehealth and face to face consulting.
About You
You will be an AHPRA registered qualified Mental Health Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist, or an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
To be successful in this role you will have experience providing a stepped care approach to mental health services, within a regional or remote primary or community health care setting. You will have demonstrated abilities to build relationships and create linkages with external stakeholders such as health, justice, housing and community services to assist clients accessing interagency support. Excellent communication skills, high level clinical documentation skills, and an ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
