As a Mental Health Clinician working in a diverse and rewarding environment in beautiful Central Australia, you will deliver mental health services to communities south-west and south-east of Alice Springs
within the scope of the Mental Health Services in Rural and Remote Areas (MHSRRA) program.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:


Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency as one of the following:

  • Mental Health Nurse
  • Psychologist
  • Occupational Therapist

or

  • Accredited Mental Health Social Worker – member of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • High level client service skills with a professional approach to service delivery
  • Awareness of cross cultural communication and the needs of people with different physical abilities
  • Evidence of appropriate experience in delivering mental health services in rural and remote settings and evidence of high level clinical documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary team.
