About this Opportunity
We are currently seeking applications for the position of Manager Remote Area Clinics (MRAC). Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Health Services Development and Clinical Governance and based in Adelaide or Port Augusta, this role is accountable for first line leadership and management of a safe and quality nursing service for RFDS CO remote area clinics in South Australia (Marla, Andamooka and Marree.)
The MRAC is responsible for oversight of clinical service delivery including primary health care (chronic disease management, episodic care assessments and presentations) and emergency services.
About You
You will have prior experience leading, mentoring and coaching both professional and semi-professional staff. Your strength lies in your ability to build a cohesive and high performing team with shared purpose. Key to this role will be the ability to translate strategy into operational plans and ensure the achievement of organisational objectives.
Experience in applying quality management systems such as ISO 9001, AGPAL and NSQHS will be viewed very favourably. A background in Primary Health, Remote or Community Health nursing is essential
The role will require some remote travel and on occasion the cover of clinic rosters.
