About this Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Senior Facilities Manager, as the Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of RFDS SA/NT facilities and assets.
We believe our people – all of our people – keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying.
Specifically, you will:
• Collaborate with department managers and clinical teams to develop maintenance plans and schedules based on preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Generate and prioritise work orders for routine inspections, preventive maintenance tasks, repairs and fleet maintenance.
• Coordinate and liaise with contract business partners on resources, such as, personnel, tools, spare parts and equipment necessary for scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Analyse maintenance data and performance metrics to determine trends, and areas for improvement.
• Help prepare and monitor the maintenance budget, including, budget forecasting for scheduled maintenance activities and repairs.
About You
You are:
• Experienced in maintenance planning, scheduling and coordination in a facility management or industrial setting.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, equipment reliability principles and maintenance best practices.
• Organised with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
To be considered for the role you require:
• The ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and convey technical information effectively.
• Previous experience using maintenance management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in contract management or project management.
• The ability to analyse data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions to optimise facility operations.
• A trade qualification or 3+ years of facility maintenance planning experience (or demonstrated equivalence).
• A current Drivers Licence.
