Logistics Controller
Join a great Australian icon. Working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) you will be joining a team of dedicated professionals supporting those providing health care to people living and working in regional, rural and remote Australia.
Reporting to the Production Controller, the Logistics Controller is responsible for controlling the acquisition and recording of all aircraft spare part stock holdings, liaising with suppliers, and facilitation of all invoice approvals.
As a key member of the Engineering team, to be successful you must have:
- Demonstrated experience in stock management and control;
- Proven experience in purchasing systems;
- Strong customer service focus with a proactive nature;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people in a dynamic operational environment;
- Well-developed computer and admin skills;
- High levels of initiative and drive, with the ability to work autonomously;
- Ability to prioritise tasks, especially during periods of high demand; and
- Experience with aviation related spares management desirable.
