About this Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Team Lead Logistics, as the Logistics Controller, you will be motivated to take responsibility for the control of stock purchasing and traceability records for the RFDS SA/NT Adelaide base.

We believe our people – all of our people – keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying.

Specifically, you will:
- Comply with RFDS SA/NT logistics procedures.
- Oversee the regulatory compliant acquisition, receipt and records keeping of all aeronautical products in support of the Adelaide base.
- Centralise all release records for incoming stock.
- Monitor all orders and ensure costs are recorded, where Aircraft on the Ground (AOG) orders are raised out of hours follow-up is completed to ensure costs are loaded.
- Seek approval for all orders based on approval limits
- Identify and recommend improvements to the logistics discipline.
- Follow-up on outstanding orders maintaining expected delivery dates, provide updates to Engineers on progress of AOG orders.

About You

You are:
- Able to work under pressure while determining priorities to achieve deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Well-developed in your computer skills.
- A strong communicator with high levels of initiation and drive.
- Able to develop and maintain relationships across a diverse range of people.

To be considered for the role you require:

Experience in purchasing systems, stock control and stock management.
A forklift licence desirable.
