About this Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Service Desk Lead, as the IT Service Desk Officer, you will be motivated to provide customer focused support and services to RFDS Central Operations.

We believe our people – all of our people – keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying.

Specifically, you will:

    • Be motivated to provide timely support in person, via phone and remotely.
    • Diagnose and solve IT and equipment related issues.
    • Maintain the network, equipment and software.
    • Find ways to improve technical supported procedures.


    About You

    You are:

      • Customer and solution focused.
      • Equipped with an in-depth understanding of hardware installation and basic fault-finding techniques.
      • Proactive with exceptional problem-solving skills.
      • Flexible in relation to work hours and locations.


      To be considered for the role you require:

      • IT industry experience supporting VMware, Windows Servers, Remote Desktop Services/Citrix in a WAN environment, PC’s, Thin Clients and Mobile Devices.
      • Demonstrated experience in managing small IT projects which improve efficiency in technology and processes. Ideally you have experience supporting an IT Help Desk.
