About this Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team in Adelaide. Reporting to the IT Services Manager, you will play a key role in translating business requirements into effective technology solutions that support organisational objectives and enhance business performance.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to gather, analyse and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, systems and applications through technology and data-driven improvements.
- Champion data governance, data integration and the principle of "enter data once" to improve information sharing and reporting.
- Develop business analysis artefacts including process maps, requirements documentation and solution designs.
- Support the implementation of business systems and applications, ensuring alignment with governance, privacy and security requirements.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing, training workshops and change management activities to drive successful adoption of new technologies.
- Act as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists to deliver outstanding business outcomes.
About You
You are a collaborative and solutions-focused Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for improving business processes through technology. You thrive in complex environments, enjoy solving problems and can confidently communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will bring:
- Minimum two years' experience as a Business Analyst working with ERP, modern web/mobile technologies or specialised business applications.
- Demonstrated experience delivering IT business applications across areas such as Finance, HR, Payroll or Supply Chain.
- Strong analytical, requirements gathering, process mapping and solution design capabilities.
- Proven experience developing user stories and supporting user acceptance testing activities.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and develop business cases and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience facilitating workshops, education sessions and training programs that support successful technology adoption.
- Knowledge of project delivery methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Experience within healthcare, aviation, ICT, engineering or other complex operational environments (Desirable)
- UX/CX design experience and understanding of privacy and regulatory requirements (Desirable)
