About this Opportunity


We are currently seeking applications for the position of IT Infrastructure Engineer Lead. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will work from our Corporate Headquarters based at Adelaide airport.

The IT Infrastructure Engineer Lead is responsible for providing customer focused IT services and support to RFDS Central Operations. This includes, but is not limited to, providing timely support in person, via phone and remotely, diagnosing and solving IT and equipment related issues, maintaining servers, network, equipment and software, and finding ways to improve technical supported procedures.

About You


An astute communicator and team player, you are proactive, and customer focussed with exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to service delivery. You have a flexible approach to work hours and locations.

A qualified IT professional, you have comprehensive IT industry experience supporting VMware, Windows Servers, Remote Desktop Services/Citrix in a WAN environment, PC’s, Thin Clients and Mobile Devices with experience in CCTV and Building access control system administration and Cloud Administration. You have a solid understanding of hardware installation and basic fault-finding techniques. In addition, you have demonstrated experience in managing small IT projects which improve efficiency in technology and processes. Ideally you have experience supporting an IT Help Desk.

The RFDS has mandatory vaccination requirements. This role requires a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and the incumbent will be required to be eligible to hold an ASIC card.
