About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and technically capable IT Business Applications Administrator to join our Information Technology team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing a suite of business-critical applications that enable the organisation to deliver efficient and effective services across multiple operational areas. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure systems remain secure, reliable and aligned with organisational needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and maintaining business applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Managing system access, user permissions and application security.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues and coordinating vendor support where required.
  • Supporting system upgrades, enhancements, integrations and testing activities.
  • Developing and maintaining application documentation, procedures and user resources.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve user experience through technology solutions.
  • Providing guidance and support to end users to maximise system effectiveness and adoption.


About You

You are a collaborative and solutions-focused IT professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to improve systems and business processes.
You will bring:

  • Experience supporting and administering enterprise or business applications in a multi-user environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of application security, user access management and data governance principles.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades and change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business Systems or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with integrated business systems, reporting platforms or digital transformation projects will be highly regarded.
