We are leaders in providing aeromedical and primary health care services to people in remote, rural and regional locations across the Northern Territory and South Australia.

About this Opportunity


The RFDS operates remote health clinics in Marree, Andamooka and Marla. As part of our dedicated remote area team, our Health Service Assistants support Remote Area Nurses in the provision of primary health care and emergency services to the community and visitors. Health Service Assistants are responsible for a variety of tasks including ambulance driving, entry level clinical support, general basic facility & vehicle maintenance, environmental cleaning, administration, and safety compliance.

About You


To be successful you will have:

Current first aid certification
Experience working within a volunteer emergency service such as SA Ambulance or other emergency services
Unrestricted drivers licence and safe driving record
Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously
Well-developed communication skills with the desire to join a team committed to delivering integrated and quality healthcare patient outcomes

The roster for this role will require travel up to 2 weeks at a time. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday (0830-1700) with an after-hours on-call service.
