About this Opportunity


RFDSCO is seeking Certified Immunisation Registered Nurses to assist with the provision of COVID 19 Vaccines to remote areas of the Northern Territory. Responsibilities include the administration of the Covid 19 vaccine (Pfizer) in accordance with legislative, industrial and RFDS policy requirements and standards. Where required, you will also be responsible for the monitoring and storage of vaccines and the maintenance of immunisation records and vaccine supplies.

About You


You will be an AHPRA registered nurse with community nursing experience, a Nurse Immunisation Certificate and a sense of adventure. Additionally, you have completed the Government Covid 19 vaccination training programme, ALS1 accreditation,basic life support or cardio pulmonary resuscitation training. A confident, independent practitioner, you also enjoy working as part of a team and your strong communication skills enable you to adapt easily to the needs of a variety of stakeholders.

Experience working in remote Australian communities would be an advantage but is not essential.
