Financial Accountant

Join a great Australian icon. Working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) you will be supporting a team of dedicated professionals providing health care to people living and working in regional, rural and remote Australia.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for providing a broad range of accounting and administrative duties. You will have a proactive attitude, with an eagerness to assist and support the team. We are looking for a self-starter who is flexible, reliable and can work autonomously whilst balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

Skills and experience:
• Provide assistance with end of month/yearly procedures
• Assist with ad hoc financial accounting functions and projects
• Provide back-up to the accounts payable and accounts receivable work
• Reconciliation of the general ledger and bank accounts
• Assistance with cash-flow reports and analysis
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a financial role
• Task oriented with an analytical and problem solving approach.
