About the Opportunity
We're seeking a motivated and hands-on Engineering Logistics & Support Officer to join our Aviation Engineering team in Adelaide.
This is a diverse role that sits at the heart of our engineering operation, ensuring aircraft maintenance teams have the resources, equipment and support they need to keep our fleet mission-ready. From coordinating parts and inventory to supporting maintenance activities and maintaining engineering facilities, you'll play a key role in helping our aircraft remain operational and ready to serve communities across SA and the NT.
No two days are the same. You'll work closely with engineers, suppliers and operational teams, contributing to a fast-paced environment where your organisation, initiative and problem-solving skills will make a genuine impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing engineering stores, inventory and stock movements
- Coordinating procurement activities and supplier deliveries
- Supporting aircraft maintenance activities and workshop operations
- Maintaining engineering facilities, equipment and work areas
- Assisting with logistics planning and administrative tasks
- Contributing to safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain aircraft cleaning standards in line with infection prevention, aeromedical and operational requirements.
About You
You are a practical and organised professional who enjoys working in an operational environment. You take pride in maintaining high standards, can manage competing priorities and are comfortable working with a range of stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory, purchasing or maintenance support environments
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping capabilities
- Confidence using computerised systems and managing data accurately
- A proactive and team-focused approach to work
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Experience within aviation, engineering or technical environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Forklift License and Dangerous Goods Certification (desirable)
