About this Opportunity


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to expand and enhance our People and Culture (P&C) team. Reporting to the Executive General Manager, People and Culture, this role is accountable for the provision of high quality advice and coaching to people leaders that educates and upskills their knowledge, enabling them to effectively manage and lead their teams. Specifically the role is responsible for the provision of accurate, commercially astute and timely advice to People Leaders and P&C across a broad range of people related matters including people policies, Enterprise Agreements, NES entitlements, Employment contracts, conduct management and performance.

About You


You will hold qualifications in HR and IR and have substantial experience in leading ER in complex environments and ideally in the health or aviation sectors. You will have extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and interpreting enterprise agreements and individual employment contracts. You will also have demonstrated extensive experience resolving complex workplace matters.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills will help you work successfully on a broad spectrum of employee related issues and projects. You will be a champion of our culture and ensure treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our values, competencies, leadership and conduct expectations.

With well-developed knowledge of contemporary ER/IR management concepts and strategies, plus the ability to operate in ambiguity, you will be able to resolve problems, identify solutions and provide recommendations on policies and procedures.
