About this Role
An exciting new opportunity to join our team of experienced marketing and fundraising professionals. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this role is responsible for the development and management of cost-effective strategies that build the number of financial donors to the RFDSCO, including all stages of donor development.
The particular focus of this role is Donor Acquisition and Donor Appeals, Donor Conversion to Regular Giving Programs, Donor stewardship and communication, and revenue building within our donor database.
The role will be responsible for developing the strategy and timeline, production and execution of donor appeals to new and existing donors. Also key to the role is creating new initiatives to engage new and existing donors to become Regular Givers to RFDS with a focus on revenue and retention of donors by utilising our database (Blackbaud Raisers Edge). The Donor Relationship Specialist will work with the RFDS stakeholders to plan and deliver fundraising events.
About You
As a member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia and with knowledge of the FIA code of conduct, you will have demonstrated fundraising and donor development experience. With excellent communication skills you will also demonstrate an ability to work effectively and maintain relationships with a diverse range of people within the community.
Highly organised, you are also a self-motivated, outgoing person with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a growing dynamic team. The right person will also demonstrate the ability to conceptualise an idea and see it through to completion, including in the production of relevant marketing material.
Knowledge of the Wealth scan platform, the philanthropic foundation and PAF’s would be an advantage.
