The RFDS Oral Health Program has been developed to improve the oral health outcomes and general health status of communities in remote and very remote Australia.

We are now seeking to appoint a Dental Hygienist/Therapist to the program team. Reporting to the Senior Health Program Advisor and Senior Dentist, the Dental Hygienist/Therapist will provide an integrated oral health service within the scope of the Dental Practice Act and Regulations through expert clinical dental skills and effective membership in both the Oral Health and Primary Health Care teams. The role will be critical in providing individualised oral hygiene care and treatment to help improve oral and general health and wellbeing to communities in remote South Australia and Northern Territory.
