The RFDS Oral Health Program has been developed to improve the oral health outcomes and general health status of communities in remote and very remote Australia.We are now seeking to appoint two Dental Assistants to the program team. Reporting to the Senior Dentist the Dental Assistants will be critical in:

• Assisting the Senior Health Program Advisor to identify core equipment needs to support the fly in fly out model of care and establish / maintain the equipment inventory.
• Providing administrative and clinical chairside assistance to Senior Dentist and sessional Dentists.
• Preparing and managing the setup of the mobile dental facility for patient reception.
• Undertaking duties related to service delivery for managing and recording patient appointments.
