Dental Assistant

The RFDS Oral Health Program has been developed to improve the oral health outcomes and general health status of communities in remote and very remote Australia.
We are now seeking to appoint a casual Dental Assistant to the program team to be based in Port Augusta. The Dental Assistant will be critical in:
- Managing all equipment, including sterilisation
- Providing administrative and clinical chairside assistance to the team
- Preparing and managing the setup of the mobile dental facility
- Undertaking duties related to service delivery including managing and recording patient appointments.
Must have previous experience in a dental practice setting, Certificate III in Dental Assisting desirable.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity that will provide a challenging and rewarding working environment where you will be helping those most in need. Regular travel and nights away in rural and remote locations required.
