Data Control Officer
The Engineering team at Royal Flying Doctor Service – Central Operations is looking for a Data Control Officer on a 12-month contract basis.
Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, the Data Control Officer plays a key administrative support role in the Engineering department on a day to day basis. More specifically, working closely with our Engineers, the role is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records regarding aircraft maintenance completed by our Engineers, to assist in ensuring the continued aircraft airworthiness of our fleet.
Specific responsibilities also include carrying out assigned work tasks and projects under the direction of the Head of Engineering or delegate; producing consistent and accurate reports, processing aircraft work packs in a timely manner; and identifying and reporting trends, errors and hazards.
Critical to this role is experience in data entry in a document control environment, exceptional computer literacy and technical communication skills. Previous experience with aircraft maintenance administration and planning is an advantage but not essential.
You will be a motivated team player, who has a flexible approach to work and the ability to work unsupervised. Your high level of attention to detail and strong time management skills will see you succeed in this role.
