Our Alice Springs Tourist Facility provides an opportunity to learn about the history, staff and patients of the Royal Flying Doctor service and their heroic stories, in a technology driven and interactive environment. We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to ensure that our visitors receive the best possible customer service together with a unique learning experience.
About the Role
This role aims to ensure our visitors have an exceptional experience and YOU ARE THE KEY to that:
• Greeting and welcoming all visitors
• Providing visitors with a brief informative talk
• Assisting with the coordination of school visits, educational and local community events, and activities
• Managing advanced bookings with a quality customer service focus
• Assisting with ordering, pricing, storage and displaying of stock
About You
You Love working with people and have:
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to speak confidently to groups
• Retail experience
• Exceptional customer service and organisational skills
Previous experience in the Tourism Industry is preferred but not essential. Rostering is to cover opening hours of the Tourist Facility Monday to Sunday.
