About this Role
Reporting to the Stakeholder Relations Manager, the Content Specialist will be the Flying Doctor’s lead “storyteller”, combining excellent communications skills and creativity to write, edit and publish engaging content for all RFDS platforms.
Your content production will be part of a proactively managed editorial calendar supporting both the RFDS’s marketing/fundraising objectives and other areas of the organisation.
The Content Specialist will be responsible for:
• developing and distributing effective external communications including print and online fundraising publications, health program and service collateral, Annual Report and media releases;
• multi-media story packaging, supporting our in-house videography function in project briefing, scriptwriting, storyboarding and talent liaison;
• planning, community management and creation of digital/social media content in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Specialist;
• serving as an organisational brand checkpoint, ensuring all collateral meets RFDS brand guidelines, and;
• curating engaging and educational internal communications.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years demonstrated writing, editing and communications experience with a strong sense for what makes a great story.
Your resourcefulness and excellent interpersonal skills will assist you in planning and tailoring content for multiple audiences
