About this Opportunity
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for reviewing, processing and reconciling suppliers’ invoices, payments, credit card transactions, and remittances. This vital role will ensure accurate and timely weekly payment runs and monthly reconciliations. This role will respond to all accounts enquiries internally and externally, by managing a dedicated accounts outlook mailbox.
This opportunity is a full-time 12-month fixed term contract (plus 2 month handover) covering parental leave, located at the RFDS Adelaide Base (Adelaide Airport SA 5950).
About You
As an Accounts Payable (AP) Officer you will have accounting knowledge and preferably 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar AP position. You will be self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. You will have a high level of customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a friendly attitude.
Ideally you have relevant accounting software experience (preferably Finance One and SAP Concur Credit Card expense tool). This is not essential if you have a CAN-DO attitude and a positive approach to learning.
