About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, The Accounting Officer provides transactional, administrative, and accounting support to the finance team as well as assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
This integral role will ensure financial processing and reconciliation is accurate and accomplished in a timely manner, working autonomously on some tasks yet in a team-orientated environment. This role is a new addition to the growing Finance team and offers (some) flexibility with working location, with team members based across Adelaide and Port Augusta.
About You
As an Accounting Officer you will hold accounting knowledge with experience working in a similar position. You will be self-motivated with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks with competing deadlines. You will be highly organised, resourceful and a team player, with strong computer literacy and administrative skills. You will also have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ideally you have relevant accounting software experience (preferably Finance One, ELO and Concur), as well as an Accounting Qualification. These are not essential if you have a CAN-DO attitude and a positive approach to learning.
