About this Opportunity


You will join our dedicated team of engineers to keep our “flying intensive care units” in the air. Working in a challenging, fulfilling and rewarding environment, our engineering team plays a pivotal role in enabling the delivery of vital aeromedical services to rural and remote locations.

This exciting opportunity to join the RFDS as an Apprentice Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, will see you study the Certificate IV in Aeroskills which will give you the skills and technical expertise to help us make a difference to the communities we serve.


About You


You will have exceptional communication and computer skills, a strong sense of reliability, along with well-developed organisation and problem-solving skills. You will show a willingness to learn, and work well as part of a team, as well as a sound commitment to a heathy, safe and compliant work environment.

It is essential you hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence, and the ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). Experience working in the Aviation Industry is highly desirable.
