Ergon Energy Retail
Ergon Energy Retail (EER) has been a principal partner of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) since 2000, making this partnership one of the longest-running charity and corporate relationships of its type in Australia.
It was in Mount Isa that EER and the RFDS, both operating under a charter to serve regional, rural and remote Queenslanders, announced the partnership that enabled EER customers to make donations to the RFDS (Queensland Section) through their electricity bills.
In 2025, this partnership celebrated two exciting milestones - 25 years of working together, and $20 million raised to help the Flying Doctor.

Ergon Energy Retail continue to support the Flying Doctor by engaging their customers and team members in a variety of meaningful ways – from encouraging bill donations and workplace giving, to volunteering at RFDS events and helping to spread awareness of our vital work across Queensland.
Their ongoing commitment ensures that together, we can continue delivering essential health services to people living in rural, remote and regional Australia.
