Children and Parenting Program

Children and Parenting Program

This program was launched in March 2015. The program places a Senior Mental Health Clinician in Normanton, Croydon and Karumba.

Through this program, parents or carers can access specialised mental health service for themselves and/or their children. Education can be provided to teachers and other school staff around issues that impact on children’s learning such as FASD, ASD, ADHD, anxiety and trauma.  The program also responds to emergent issues such as self-harm, grief and loss in the community etc.

Anne Maree Taney is a Senior Mental Health Clinician who delivers this program for Normanton, Croydon and Karumba.

One of the modalities Anne Maree implements when working with children to allow them to process events in their lives is Sandplay Therapy.

Access to our FREE Children and Parenting Program is as easy as picking up the phone.
