For the sixth consecutive year, the Royal Flying Doctor Service has been recognised as the most reputable charity in Australia in the national annual Charity Reputation Index.
In addition, for the first time since the establishment of this survey, RFDS achieved first ranking across all survey dimensions of services, innovation, workplace, citizenship, governance, leadership and cost management.
The RFDS is committed to making a difference for all people living, travelling and working within Western Australia through the provision of the very best aero medical care available anywhere in the world.
During the past 12 months, the Flying Doctor has flown over 9000 sick and injured patients to hospitals across our vast state, have received nearly 40,000 telephone calls for medical assistance and advice.
RFDS pilots and medical teams made over 16,500 landings and flew over 7.5 million kilometres to the furthermost reaches of Western Australia.
