We are seeking highly motivated AHPRA registered General Practitioners with the ability to work both independently in an isolated environment and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Fellowship with RACGP, ACRRM or equivalent (or working towards this within 12 months of appointment), and comprehensive experience in primary care are essential. Experience in emergency medicine including resuscitation and advanced cardiac and trauma life support are highly desirable.
Senior Medical Practitioner
Reporting to the Executive General Manager Health Services Development, the Senior Medical Practitioner provides clinical leadership for the Port Augusta Primary Health Care Team. Inherent in the role is the provision of guidance and mentoring to RFDS Medical Practitioners, GP Registrars and medical students. Reporting to the Senior Medical Practitioner, the Medical Practitioner is responsible for the delivery of a high standard of comprehensive healthcare services.
