About this Opportunity
We are currently seeking applications from candidates experienced in IT Service Desk Support. Reporting to the Service Desk Lead, you will work from our Port Augusta facility.
The IT Service Desk Support/ Administrator is responsible for providing customer focused help desk IT support and services to RFDS Central Operations. This includes, but is not limited to, providing timely support in person, via phone and remotely, diagnosing and solving IT and equipment related issues, maintaining the network, equipment and software, and finding ways to improve technical supported procedures.
You have a customer focussed approach to service delivery, with an in depth understanding of hardware installation and basic fault-finding techniques. You are proactive with exceptional problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to work hours and locations.
You have IT industry experience supporting VMware, Windows Servers, Remote Desktop Services/Citrix in a WAN environment, PC’s, Thin Clients and Mobile Devices with experience in CCTV and Building access control system administration. You have a solid understanding of hardware installation and basic fault-finding techniques. In addition, you have demonstrated experience in managing small IT projects which improve efficiency in technology and processes. Ideally you have experience supporting an IT Help Desk.
