The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia South Eastern (RFDSSE) Section is seeking applications for a highly experienced administrator in the role of Health Service Coordinator based in Broken Hill who will provide support & coordination in the areas of:

Clinic coordination, liaison, engagement and development;
High level Communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders;
Manage rostering for Primary health services - to include traditional network clinics, Clive Bishop Medical Centre, Primary Health RFDSSE vehicles and other services;
Medical and health resources and notifications;
Electronic distribution and filing;
Travel bookings and coordination as requested for the Health team;
Medical Officer recruitment and associated follow up and recording;
Manage financial procedures and records;
IT support with software ‘Best Practice/Medical Director’ coordination and support; and
Other additional administrative tasks as requested by the Health Service Manager and Team Leader Medical (or members of the Health Leadership Team).

Role Selection Criteria
Essential:

Demonstrated experience in support role at executive level preferably in a health related field;
Demonstrated experience in meeting minute taking;
Demonstrated organisation and prioritisation skills, including the ability to follow through tasks and meet tight deadlines, electronic diary management;
A high level of accuracy and confidentiality, and knowledge of medical terminology;
Ability to adapt to a changing workload;
Advanced Microsoft Office skills with competent computer skills;
Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the production and proofing of complex documents; and
Discretion in working with sensitive, personal and confidential information.

Desirable:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health or Business Administration
Understanding of the NSW Health system and current issues in health reform and health funding.
