About the role


As Communications and Marketing Manager for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in WA, you will lead strategic communications and marketing to support brand and reputation, and make a real difference to our service.

This role promises a satisfying mix of strategy, creativity, analysis and relationship-building inside and outside the organisation. You will lead a small team to manage media, corporate communications, marketing campaigns and internal communications, and be an important contributor in other areas of the organisation such as incident response, stakeholder engagement activities and support for fundraising and corporate partnerships.

This role promises the opportunity to work with a trusted brand that is rich in stories and respected by many people.

About you


The right person for the job will have significant communications and marketing experience. They will have a head for strategy and their sleeves rolled up to get things done. 

This person will be curious to learn about every area of the RFDS and have the capability to create productive relationships across the organisation and with our many stakeholders. 

The right candidate will be a positive leader for the team, and be practical, flexible and professional.  They will have a contemporary approach to planning, delivering and evaluating their portfolio of responsibilities and be accountable for your results. This person will be proud to be part of Australia’s most trusted charity and of making a difference to people in regional Western Australia.

Benefits


- Full-time, 12 months (parental leave cover) with possibility of extension.
- Salary packaging - up to $15,900 per annum for everyday expenses and up to $2,650 per annum on meals and entertainment expenses
